I think the police should be arresting them for noise violations if they are shouting and using bull horns at night in a neighborhood. I'm betting the police are being told to stand down and let them have their way unless violence occurs. The protesters have city officials running scared right now. They will be allowed to break laws, disrupt commerce and traffic unless they instigate the violence. I think the protesters want them to try arrests, and I can see the ensuing scrum on national news. Carlos has literally dared the police to try and stop them. Its what the professional chit stirrers are here to make happen. The longer it drags out the more money they milk this circus for. Its a stand off at this point, and each side is waiting on the other to flinch. Stay tuned...

The city is acting scared and they need to do their jobs and protect the rights of their citizens. I am all for peaceful protest. After all, I am a bleeding heart. But, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct shouldn't be tolerated by the police.

They are going to call us and paint the way they want it anyway, and who cares. Do what's right and enforce the laws and protect the citizens. We live here, the protestors don't. I don't care what they think or say.

But, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct shouldn't be tolerated by the police. I agree about peaceful protest. And what they want is confrontation. Why give them what they want? I think the officers at the mayors house acted perfectly last night. Did you see the "young black female" as she called herself. Looked about 16-17 to me. She started screaming and yelling at the cops.Told the Black cops he should be ashamed of himself. The longer she ranted the more insane she sounded. So much so that the "leaders" realized it and finally shut her down. They're not going to engage the police, they're smarter than that. What they do want is the police to engage them first and then it will be on. Do we really want to go Bull Connor on these people? That would set this stage back 50 years. Just let them yell for a little bit and when they see it's doing no go they will go away. It takes 2 people to argue.

So my question is; If I lived there and decided to open the doors on my Z71 and blare loud offensive music, would 'my rights to (counter) protest be protected' OR would I be visited by the po-po and told to knock it off or face getting a citation for disturbing the peace, or whatever it's called.

Drive over there tonight and give it a try. The protesters don't live there either.

These So called protesters are in a residential neighborhood creating a public disturbance , where are the Police? They should tell them to leave, if they refuse and continue to create a public disturbance they should be arrested for disorderly conduct!

That's what they want-- to be arrested so they can make more of a spectacle of it. If the PD can stand there cold face and not even make eye contact with them, they will go away in a few days.

Saul Alinsky wrote Rules for Radicals--it is THE Progressive tactical and strategic "playbook" for making hay with the sun is shining, politically speaking. I disagree with 99% of that book but have to give credit, his strategy is impressively effective when deployed. And the Progressives deploy it every single day.
Here are a couple of quotes that tell the tale.
"Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage."
"Action comes from keeping the heat on. No politician can sit on a hot issue if you make it hot enough."
"You cannot meet today's crisis tomorrow."
"in the arena of action, a threat or a crisis becomes almost a precondition to communication"...this is where the thinking as stated by Progressive Rahm Emmanuel during the early Obama years "Never Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste" is based on this communication section in Alinsky's book.
I'd encourage all of you to read that book. It helps to know and understand the enemy (and his minions) of Liberty.
"The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8
"Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt. Samuel Adams

If the PD let's them get away with breaking the law, it's a HUGE mistake. They better enforce the law, regardless of the political fallout. That's why we have lawyers and judges, to sort out the justice.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Trump does both of these things all the time. He must've read the book, too.

Careful with your comments boys. Some bleeding heart will start questioning if you ever think before you type. I am a bleeding heart because I find it stupid and distasteful to talk about turning fire hoses on people and I find it ignorant to call them animals and monkeys? Well, if that is the definition, then I an proud to be a bleeding heart. Why don't you go shot a mannequin. It might make you feel better. I never called anyone an animal or monkey. Lord help you if you ever get in a situation where you actually have to fight back in life.

Lord help you if you ever get in a situation where you actually have to fight back in life. I am not talking about you calling people animals or monkeys. Others have. And unlike shooting at a mannequin, I have actual had to use a gun in defense of myself against a real person twice. Luckily, both times before I could pull the trigger the person fled. I have also been in plenty of fights. Have not been in one since May of 2016. that guys not only got his ass kicked but also got arrested while I laughed with the cops who pulled me off of him. He started it, I finished it At the time I had a gun on me, I never needed it and the officers knew it and didn't care.
