Anyone feasting on a bird they killed tomorrow? I know lots of folks say they dont fool with anything other than breasts on a wild bird, but I'm tempted to try to cook a whole bird next year if I can kill a couple this spring. There's a good-looking recipe on the MeatEater site I've thought about.

I like to eat em fresh in the spring too much and Madison county doesn't have a fall season.

That's some optimistic procrastination, cooking a bird you haven't killed until tomorrow.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Pluck your next one Gomer. It doesn’t take that long and they are delicious cooked whole X2. One tip, scald it first. Feathers will come off in handfuls. You can pick one clean in minutes.
