I didn't get a pic of em, but maybe some of y'all know what kind of oak it is. It is in the white oak family, has leaves that look like a water oak, and has really small acorns but deer love em. I see them mainly on upland areas.

Bastard Oak, also called Durand Oak (quercus sinuata) is the only one I can think of that has white oak bark and leaves that can be similar to a water oak. It's not very common but I've seen them in Alabama and Georgia.

Little small coco colored acorn is a chinkapin. Acorns are sweet enough for humans to eat.

You just trying to get people to cuss. Probably pointing and snickering.

Had a pile of them on a place I hunted in Boligee. They were everywhere in that prairie. I don’t know that I ever saw one of them produce acorns.
