You found any crappie shallow fur? Yes and no. I found some on the shallow side of deep boat docks but not in shallow flat water.

that’s fishing today is a moran.  I love the brutal cold weather for fishing. Some of my best days have been when it's so cold you never see another boat. I swear the Coosa gets better the colder it gets. I've CRUSHED them at Jordan, Mitchell, and Lay in the snow and sleet.

I like fishing in the cold too. But the day I posted this, it was raining and 37 degrees. It rained all day Wednesday and was just nasty.

it was raining and 37 degrees. It rained all day Wednesday and was just nasty. The only way this gets better is if it would sleet/snow mixed in. Something about that pressure drop makes the Coosa go crazy. From now until Feb, if I see a terrible weather report, I'll do whatever it takes to get to Lay, Jordan, or Mitchell. ESPECIALLY, if that weather report includes snow or sleet.
