FB is where the new gen goes today. And with FB live, it makes perfect sense to use that media outlet. Today's younger generation doesn't use Facebook. They think it's stupid and is for old people. That bears out in surveys by social media outlets, with most FB users being age 40 and older along with significant declines in usage by young people. "Kids" today - those being teens to post-college graduates - are more into Instagram (which is being ruined by Facebook, its owner), Snapchat and Twitter (not as much, tho). They also don't use email as much, unless needed for work, and prefer to text. Maybe "new gen" is a bad term (not meant to describe young folks), maybe FB is "more used" vs tv, radio. At least they had 24K views. I guess you can have real-time Q&A on instagram and snapchat?

Hunted boocoo species. Elk in wilderness area, ducks, deer , gator, hell I will throw sharks in. The only hunting that bored me was spring turkey. Kilt plenty. I would much rather fall hunt a turkey on the family farm a couple days before thanksgiving and have our family enjoy it. We all enjoy different ways and types of hunting. If you dont go over season bag limit why should anyone care if it was killed in fall or spring? lol if they gave every county a fall season you bet the limit will drop .

I envy some of those people. I think life would be a lot easier if I were that stupid.
They say ignorance is bliss, but I'm not sure if that also applies to stupid.

Thats why folks dont want fall season. They dont want to give up their 5 bird limit. I would like to take just one bird at Thanksgiving or perhaps Christmas. Thats the difficulty the DCNR has in making, keeping or changing regulations. Doing what is best for species management but also satisfying or giving opportunity to different user groups. They have a tough job# See, I think that's the sum of the whole problem. Satisfying any group, of people, shouldn't really be a consideration when your job is to manage the resources.

Well, if those faces don't instill confidence in your government, nothing will. That guy on the far left is about to pass out I believe that is Chris Cook, one of the biologists.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Guy in the middle looks confused, or maybe he needs to go take a POOP He’s probably trying to figure out how many deer have died from CWD, should we have a fall turkey season and shoot hens, why are mineral and salt licks leagal but not white corn, or what to do if someone shoots a mountain lion

I don’t know why they would do it here or on Facebook honestly. There are so many who try to derail and degrade everything they do here and elsewhere that I would tell them to read the book and deal with it. The same ones run around wondering why no one wants to help them. I couldn't have said it any better!

I hate being told what to do on my own land But the wildlife (resource) isn't yours. That's why there has to be some governance over private land. This is another subject because of my beliefs (landowners rights) that i remain neutral on. It has been explained to me several times but not in a way that I can come to grips with. So: How can a captive deer that is for private use only, limited in their travels to prevent public use (high fence), be considered a public resource?

My comment was in reference to wildlife, not domestic pets, or genetic mutations. Im in agreement with you on that subject. Once the high fence goes up, there is no longer wildlife and the fence owner should be 100% accountable for whatever happens, good or bad.

I understand that and that should be the way it is. Then comes the question about DCNR spending time and money on them?
