I bought a pair of flush mounts of ebay. I mounted them in the bumper of the 08 Silverado I had and wired them to the back up lights. They were VERY bright, and one took a direct hit when I got rear ended at 70 MPH and although it broke the flange the lens was still intact and the light still worked.
