I have a 2012 Frontier and I'd like to add some sort of bright LED back up light kit. However, I don't want it looking like garbage as this is my daily driver. I may even be willing to install some sort of flush mount kit in the bumper if I have confidence I could wire it in properly.

Anyone have luck with the various kits out there? Simple is always better, but I'm willing to put in the work if there's something particularly slick working available.

Thanks for the help

The only hard part about flush mount in the bumper is cutting the holes. Wiring is easy, you just wire them to the backup light. Easier mount would be under the bumper.

In front of my lathe
I bought a pair of flush mounts of ebay.

I mounted them in the bumper of the 08 Silverado I had and wired them to the back up lights.

They were VERY bright, and one took a direct hit when I got rear ended at 70 MPH and although it broke the flange the lens was still intact and the light still worked.

Here is a link to the kind I had Flush Mount Lights
