When they’re having a primitive weapons hunt on zone b of black Warrior wma, do you have to obtain a permit to archery hunt that zone? The map lists gun deer hunts and primitive weapons hunts separately. It says on days of gun deer hunts you do need to check in, but doesn’t mention whether you do or do not on primitive weapons hunts. Is this a technicality? Seems like since they explicitly say you do for gun hunts, they’d include it on the primitive weapons rules if it was required. I really don’t want to drive all the way to the check in station. That requires getting up too much earlier. If it’s required, I think I’ll just hunt on the forest.
