Skin and boil then pressure wash. Change water add a couple bottle of peroxide and boil 30 more minutes not letting it get on horns. Best way I’ve found and I like the skull to be Snow White.

just learn to do it yourself it's super easy How do you do yours? I've got one from last year that I'm going to do, maybe this weekend, to practice on. My plan was to skin it out and remove as much flesh as possible with a knife, then boil it for 5 or 6 hours (or until the meat's fallen off) in water with some borax mixed in. I'm still undecided as to whether I'll leave it the natural color or hit the skull with some peroxide to whiten it. Is that about it, or are there extra steps you do?

I got a related question....besides throwing them away, what’s the best fix for rotten heads that I don’t want to touch. Lightning struck my house and fried my freezer that had 3-4 deer heads and 2 turkeys and a bunch of deer livers and feet and turkey beards and feet. Didn’t know it wasn’t working for months. It’s so rank I don’t want to do anything but take the freezer to the dump, but I sure would like those heads European mounted. Should I just sling them in the woods somewhere and let nature work them over? Should I wrap the antlers in something to keep rodents from chewing them up?

Put them in the woods but cover them with chicken wire and stake it down really well or the squirrels will gnaw them to hell and back. Or, find and good fire ant bed, kick the top off and set it on there, then cover it with something like a plastic tote with a cinderblock on top to keep something from stealing it.

I hate your freezer went out foldemup. I would probably hold my breath get my deer heads out and put them straight in a big pot of boiling water. Maybe after all that nasty meat cooks a little while it won’t smell so bad when your cleaning it off.

You're gonna just have to put some Vick's VapoRub under your nose, pull them mofos out, then put them straight into a pot of boiling water. Smell should subside once they're getting cooked down.

It is pretty easy to do. Just watch some you tube videos on it.
Biggest mistake I made the first time was cooking it to long and submerging the antlers. The fat darkened up the antler bases.
The skull can get soft if you cook it to much.
Pressure washed the meat away and be careful with the peroxide. Don't get any on the antlers.
Takes a few hours. Much easier than I thought it would be.
