Forgot how I hate cleaning up traps to get ready to re-dip and get going. However, I did try something new and it took me about half the time. Anybody else ever media blasted traps to clean them up? I’ll continue to do it this way as long as I have access to a blaster. Traps are back to clean metal, I’ll let them sit a bit and re-dip.
Just thought I’d share. Didn’t figure most would do it that way. True, Don't find many of us have media blasters just sitting out in the shop. Trap preparation does take a long time though. Too bad all traps aren't as easy as dogless coon traps. God Bless, David B.

I'm just old fashioned and enjoy building a big fire around a drum full of traps. Lol! Would definitely be a good way to clean up DP traps before painting them.
