Congratulations ! I have the same rifle and love it ! How do you like the muzzle break on it ? I may try to find one myself. Also, those rifles are getting hard to find...I'm glad I bought mine when I did.

It like it, very little recoil but it is louder. I had it put on when I bought the rifle simply because the barrel is threaded & I like the look.

Pouring rain so I delayed walking into my stand on opening morning. Got blown going up the hill so I check my watch it was just barely legal shooting hours. Half-way across and opening a deer came out of the woods and flagged, I stopped and glassed. Saw it was a buck and got my gun up as he took off and then he stopped at the tree line. He didn't go much further.

Because of the CWD restriction my buddy took the meat and my brother is making the antlers into a gun rack.

Notes: Not a deer I had on cam. Ill have to inquire with others to see if they did but suspect he may be a rut "traveller". Only weighed 150lbs, his lack of antler mass, and my very quick judgement on the hoof says this was a 3.5yr old, which is an exceptional 3.5yo specimen where I hunt if that's the case.

Saw doe, yearling, spike and 3 smaller racks before this guy, including one 7pt that crossed so close to my brushed in blind I could almost reach out and touch him. It was a great sit, and great conclusion to a long weekend spent in the woods.
