What kind of effect do you think it will have on all forage species ? Will having a hard freeze before any significant frosts make it worse ?

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Showing 26 here Wednesday morning if that kills the ones I have planted I won't ever plant any again. For me kinda useless to plant something that only lasts a month or so and gone before gun season opens. Might be diffrent if I had a 100 acres of fields I could plant.

If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.

Radishes need to be planted in September north of bham for this exact reason. Matter of fact I'll be planting mine sept 15 next year as good of success as I've had this year

By success, you mean deer using them or just production? We've never done much radishes

Both. Deer are pounding the crap out of them. And tonnage is out the roof.

I’ve been planting them for years. Literally when you still had to order them. In my experience the cold snap will slow them down but they will continue growing especially on during the weeks we have abnormally high temps.

Idk Josh showing 21-24 degrees up here next Wednesday. That always finishes radishes off in previous years when we've used em to cover crop. The root will still be ok just the leaves will be gone.

This is my experience also. Except they’re hitting them so hard there’s not a lot of tonnage. We had 24 deer in a 3 acre field 2 weeks ago.

A few Sunday's ago my son and I counted 40 on 15 acres at 630 dark. And couldn't see the whole field. You can't walk across the field without stepping on deershit.

I the deer smell good. I shot a doe one time that had been eating alot of onions or something and she was ripe.

It be's that way sometimes.
