Do they ever have any of these in north central Alabama ? Don’t want to hi-jack the thread because these are great classes. To answer your question, yes. The DCNR puts several on across the state with the help of folks like NWTF, AL Trappers Association, retired employees, and current staff. Me and a few others taught one last weekend in Detroit, AL. I urge anyone interested to take the OP’s invitation. These are fantastic learning opportunities and a great way to get kids and other folks that don’t hunt in the woods.

These are great classes! Scoutshire has been a nice place to have the class the past couple years also.

Right now we have 5 participants registered. It's a great event and great facilities we're fortunate enough to be able to use. Keep passing the word so we don't have to cancel the class.
If anyone has questions feel free to shoot me a message. I would love to attend, but I go to church on Sundays.. can I come for the Saturday class only?
