I’ve been fun hunting for a few years on public land but am thinking about getting into bow hunting on the archery only areas. Are these areas less pressured due to the smaller number of hunters and greater care taken by bow hunters to be more quiet and deliberate in their methods?

Any tips for archery only areas would be great to know too!

When I hunted those places, years ago, they were CROWDED and unfortunately many bow hunters are slobs. Hopefully you’ll have better experiences than I had.

Not to mention that everything gets shot when bow hunting public lands.

I think people assume bow hunters are more quiet and deliberate because bow hunting makes ya get closer or whatever, but anyone can go buy a bow and walk out onto public land. They won't be successful, but they'll make it hard for everyone else!
