Alright now, I'm playing pretend aldeer deer contest I reckon. I was drawn for this team. Hope y'all win. Don't let me down. Tony if you need any help deciding on what to shoot, I have a brown and down place in Tensaw you can come kill one on. We let Walt's place manage em for us across the creek and we shoot what is left. Lol. JK. We only have an occasional bear pass through. Best of luck to yall.

Pretty stout team between AL ,IN ,OK maybe I can pull a couple out .

I’m supposed to be in Missouri for 5-6 days first week in November, but my dad was going to drive out and pick me up from the airport, and his plans have been rearranged by the hurricane. Not sure if I’m still gonna go and just drive or maybe head back to Kentucky again. Time is at a premium, so I may just opt for Kentucky and catch Missouri next year.

Good luck to you wherever you go. We are supposed to go down to my 300 acre lease in Macon county and plant food plots Saturday. We should be done by 1pm so hopefully I can get my first hunt of the season I

Passed on a doe with two spotted fawns , got another stand with deer under it every morning but I’m saving them for my wife. I’ll try to get us on the board on the small game hunt this weekend .

Well has my first hunt of the season this afternoon went to a spot on my lease that I picked out from google earth. Where a big creek makes a hook I figured it would funnel the deer. Well I was right it did just not the way I expected I saw 7 deer, 2 does 1 with 2 fawns a 4 point a basket rack 8 and a bigger buck that couldn’t clearly see. Most of them walked the same path which was about 60 yards away. When I climbed down I moved my climber to a different tree which should put me in bow range. Gonna go back in the morning and see what happens.

Good luck. I’m giving it a shot this morning, hopefully a doe meanders by. This place is pretty boring to hunt, low population and neighbors that shoot everything that moves, but I’m laying off my good places until the rut.

Congrats Atoler! My dad got drawn for a SOA hunt Dec. 6-9, so i am looking forward to that! I’ve got 4 shooter bucks on camera this year also. I’ve only been able to go 2 times so far this year. I’m going to bust the first doe i see when given the chance. Good luck to y’all and Roll Tide.
