What do y'all think about Bosa quitting Ohio State to "focus on the draft"? Just wondering if stuff like this is going to become a trend in college football.

He’s not leaving just to focus on the draft. He’s leaving so that he can properly heal from surgery and not worry about injuring it again before the draft.

Oh it’s gonna become the norm and why wouldn’t they. After they get exposure and are on the NFL radar why would they continue to play with the likelihood of getting injured and missing that multimillion dollar contract.

More power to him. Coaches make decisions based on the all mighty dollar. Players should do the same especially when your talking 30 million.

This is a really tough one. But, yes, it's a business decision. No one questions a coach's loyalty when he leaves for greener pastures. Besides the folks he just left....

I had a friend that had a similar injury. He got Boston crabed and it took him years to recover.

I don't have a problem with it if the injury is as serious as they're saying. I would question a guy giving up on his teammates during a national championship run if it wasn't for the injury, but I think this situation is different. If your team is a playoff contender, I think you owe it to your teammates to try to finish the year

I've got no problem with Bosa's decision.

Based on what his father said, I agree that this is good decision for him; however, it is becoming too common for these athletes to sit out “meaningless bowl games” for fear they COULD be injured. I don’t want to imply they owe the school or coaches ANYTHING, but they DO owe their teammates. Those guys always “talk” about being family - you don’t leave your family hanging.

It does rub me wrong when guys "sit out" of the post season. I fully understand their reasoning with millions on the line, though.

Being injured and missing the rest of the season is one thing but he quit the team. Since this envolves OSU and Urban Meyer I’m not surprised by anything.

Not a story IMO. His choice. Oh and screw OSU.

Auburn shouldn't have any trouble with Alabama this year. You should want Alabama to play all their starters so there won't be any excuses after the beat down....
