Any body else hitting the woods tomorrow? I'll be sitting my Russell Co lease in the morning. Got pics of a nice non typical that been cruising a hardwood head pretty regular in the daylight. Hoping to get on him before anyone else gets a chance to hunt that area.

With this cold front pushing through, this should be a great weekend for deer movement. Hope ya git him. I ain't hunting this weekend but I am taking off the middle of next week to hunt in Selma with a friend from Tampa.

Anybody hunting this weekend? I'm clearing the honey do list today that I've let slide the last few weeks. Planning on getting in a tree somewhere tomorrow though.

I'm wishing I was. I won't be able to till Tuesday evening at the earliest. It will probably be too daggum hot by then.

Thought about going to my Chambers Co lease this morning but overslept a little. Hunting one of my Lee county places. Wind is not what they forecast for sure but not buggering me up yet. Saw a couple of bucks in a plot about 100 yards behind me so far but nothing working in the oaks. Maybe soon though.

I went last couple of afternoons no luck here. X2 on the wind forcast for the last couple days. I may need a better weather app

I've been one morning and one afternoon seen a 6 and a doe. Should have killed the doe but played stupid and let her walk by without ever drawing.

Have only had a shot at one big 8 so far in winston county but he stayed just out of range. Will be going to Nebraska Thanksgiving week to hunt an indian reservation for a week.

Anybody getting after them this weekend? I'm planning on running up to my chambers co. place in the morning if I can drag myse!f out of bed early enough. Been trying to get up there the last couple of weeks but just haven't made it. Still need to hang a couple of stands and check food plots and cameras so I'll probably make a day of it.

Made it to chambers co this morning, no luck. Hung 3 stands after I got down and I'll be in one of them in the morning. Found good sign and lots of acorns. Wind is going to be bad for the best spot so maybe the runner up will get it done for me. I can't wait for Turkey season. That place is slap eat up with turkeys.

Getting in the stand now, decided I'm gonna stick a doe if she doesn't come out with a little one. To many passes this season and I want a bow kill, thank God gun season starts Saturday!

Youth hunted and had a good weekend of that. Will break bad on them after Thanksgiving.

Got a doe on public land this morning. Still haven't seen any bucks

Congrats Powpow. We are on the board. I passed on a couple of small bucks this morning but I'm hunting all weekend so hopefully I get a chance at something better. My non hunting neighbor, who loves deer sausage, asked me to shoot a deer for him so I'm going to try to kill him a doe this weekend.

Well no luck for me this weekend. Back to work tomorrow. Maybe I'll get lucky next weekend.

Looks like it's not going to be great hunting weather this weekend. Laid out of work today to get some tree time in before the rains come. Let's get lucky.

Finally getting a chance to get back in the woods after having to work too much. Probably gonna be some hell raised about me not showing up for a few days so hopefully I won't get fired. One way or another it was time to get some tree stand time in. This is usually about the time it starts getting good on my Lee county place so I'm gonna hit it hard for the next couple of days and hope for the best. Good luck to everyone else this weekend.

A few more days and we should be golden on our places. Gonna try and kill a doe on public somewhere soon and bucks are starting to shift into rut areas around the house. Hopefully a good one shows up somewhere.

Got a 9 point this morning. I'll post it up in the kill thread in little bit. Rut is picking up here quickly. Gonna take my wife this afternoon and see if we can get a two-fer.

Maybe I can get us some points the next week. I've been putting the family on deer but will get to hunt by myself some soon.

This will be the worst rut we've had in a long time. No new bucks showing up and 0 deer movement. Except the does on my Perry cnty property.
