I've been twice in MS, seen a couple good bucks and several does. Only one I had a shot at still had spots lol

Tnf and oakmulgee wma I'm usually good for 3 bucks every year out of there. I haven't killed a doe in a couple years but I have two places that usually produce in early bow season

I saw several deer right at dark and several fresh rubs all around my stand. Wish I didn't have to work tomorrow

Well, i'm finally going this weekend. Worked all last weekend cleaning out the roads from the Hurricane. We have 90% of the roads accessible now. My hunting buddy sat yesterday afternoon and saw a small 6 and 4 does. The small 6 was pushing the does around!

Me and a buddy are hunting mulberry fork tomorrow and I'll be in the tnf all weekend. I've got them just about nailed down in the forest should be meat on the ground in the next couple days

I killed a doe this morning but didn't have anyone around to take a picture and wanted to get her cleaned before church. I'm sure I'll kill another one before gun season

Saw some does with fawns and a couple small bucks, heading back to camp Thurs evening. Congrats Beadle, first blood of the season under the belt is always a good feeling

Well we came back empty handed from Illinois. We saw tons of deer and I passed up some good bucks trying to hold out for a good one. I was able to lay eyes on an absolute giant just never could get him Close enough.

Killed one this evening but forgot to get proper pics, I'll kill more tho lol. Got lucky the bullet went through the tree then hit the deer, ran bout 40 yards.

I've done the same thing before. Centered a 4" oak tree with my .270. The bullet hit the deer like buckshot.......in about 4 pieces. Deer ran about the same distance as yours. I don't worry about shooting in brush much anymore.

Shot a doe this evening but never found her, blood went from pretty good to a drop here and there. Maybe she's still alive and kicking.

So last Thursday I shot pretty good buck. All we found was a piece of bone some meat and very little blood. I thought about calling in a dog but my friend told me it was more than likely a leg wound and we wouldn’t find him. So fast forward to today and my friend went hunting this afternoon and saw about 100 buzzards in that area. I’m gonna be sick if it’s him. I’m off tomorrow and will see if I can find him. My question is if I do find him can I enter him in this contest? Stay tuned maybe I will be able to recover something.

i did a couple of years ago i think. but it was a 100% my deer and i ended up killing a bigger one

As long as you don't post a pic of a deer that has clearly been dead for over a year I will post your points. Post pics of the entire carcass and yourself with him when you pick his head up. I will do it this year but I'm not sure how I will handle this next season. We will need to come up with a foolproof way of knowing this is not some deer you just found dead. If y'all have any suggestions let me know. I'd like to trust everybody but then you never know when ole JohnTravis89 will show up.

Been seeing a bunch of does, no buck sightings yet tho. Did find some rubs and scrapes, and got new bucks showing up on cam with some daytime pics, should be popping off here real soon.

i saw a 130-140+ inch deer the other day. im off until the middle janurary im going to be in the stand all day everyday next week

All three of these bucks showed up in daylight hours 3 days in a row in the same spot. I'm off until Wednesday, maybe I can get atleast one of em

Congrats to her thats a good one. I'm still seeing plenty of does and waiting on a good buck, had a big bodied deer come out late this evening but that's all I could tell is that it was a big bodied deer.

I wanted to share something that happened to me yesterday. My best friend has had a pretty crappy year hunting among other things. He had missed a couple of nice bucks on our lease. Come to find out he had a bad scope on his rifle. My friend was gonna get a new scope, instead he decided to take his dad’s old rifle, and put a new scope on it. His father had past away last November and it had really tore him up. So I decided to take him to my lease yesterday with his dad’s rifle. He scored! Not a monster, but it will be a great memory for both of us. After reflecting on yesterday, I have come to find out that this is really what hunting is all about.
