Bama's defense was so much better with Pruitt than it was with Kirby. Kirby just can't make adjustments. He recruits well but he gets so stuck on his plan and can't deviate from it. Time will tell I guess, but think Pruitt has a better career long-term than Kirby. The bulldogs looked terrible on Saturday and he couldn't make the adjustments to get them back in the game.

Not sure about either one. If Kirby can’t win it all with the team he had last year not sure he will ever win it all. Pruit seams to be a good coach but a win over AU may not be all that great.

I agree, you can't get too excited about beating this year's AU team. But his guys look like they know what they're doing and his coaches seem to understand what they are and what they're not as a team

This line of thinking has prompted schools to give long term contracts with unreal salaries that they regretted greatly in time.......a good example is TN who gave Butch Jones two pay increases and extended his contract before long term results caught up with him.....they are still writing him checks as he hangs out on Bama's sideline still looking lost......just my two cents

They have shown Butch 2 or 3 times during the games. He does look like a guy lost walking through a trailer park looking for his puppy. Obviously, this coach rehabilitation is going to take Nick a little longer.

I agree Big AL....Jimmy Sexton is the mastermind behind many of these contracts
