Does anyone have one that they would recommend (or not recommend)? I looked at the sportsman condo sc-2 and it seems okay, but I wanted to see if there were better ones at or below that price.

I have a couple sportsman condos. I would definitely recommend them. However if you are taller than 6’ then the SC3 will be more comfortable

Uhhh i believe i thought he meant a camp house...you dont want a con-x for a shooting house. I saw some nice lookin muddy shooting houses at woods and waters the other day...looked real expensive.

CC1 I was thinking that would be a pretty big hunting house.

Josh, the floors seemed to flex a good bit, did you do anything to yours?

We have several Dillon blinds and they are pretty decent.

I have Sportsman's condos, SC-2's. If you look around, you can find em for "cheap" at the end of season. You'd be hard pressed to find a shooting house that'll last forever for under $900.

I've had an SC2 for 9 years now. Newer models much improved. I like it compared to others I looked at buying. The Blynd stunk of plastic smell. SC 2 was perfect.

I have 6 sportsman condos. No complaints. They are SC 2’s

We have had nothing but problems with ours. Gave them away eventually. Constantly wet inside. Finally drilled holes in the floor just to try to drain it when them when it would rain

Any of the square or oval ones are better than the rectangle sc's imo.

I replace the window seal before I even put them up. For the money I don’t think they can be beat. If you are buying several they will sell direct. You can pick them up or pay them $2/loaded mile to deliver. No tax if they deliver. I also have a Redneck. It’s nice but not $3k nice

Thanks for the recommendations. I think I'm going to try a couple of the sc2s.

Mine are pre window kit and would hold water in a heavy rain. However a few strategically placed holes to drain water took care of that. Never had the standing water issue since drilling a few holes and only in a heavy sideways rain.

There are plenty of premium shooting houses - Atacoosa and Ranch King are my favorite. Sportsman Condos are probably the best value and are good blinds. Newer models have a better window system than older models. I’ve added plywood in some to reinforce floor, they also sell a floor mat that I’d recommend. I drilled a 3/4” hole in floor corners - no problem with water. I do not like Dillons. Their windows drain rain into house
