I was watching Big 10 Network sorry dont yell at me. They were talking bout Ohio State and when they win how the players get to pick the meal for Sunday team meal. It said they have Steak and Lobster every Sunday. I am sure all the big programs do this. I wonder how much they drop every Sunday on that meal alone for those big boys.

At Bama the players can get about anything they want every day.

You can’t “pay” the players. But you can give em $100 worth of food every day. That’s $36,500 a year right there. I know that’s probably an exaggeration.

When ESPN was doing training days with the Tide in August they showed one segment of the new dining hall. The pretty much had anything you wanted to eat. Most of the players had wings and some sort of pasta, but they had steaks, shrimp, lobster and pretty much anything else you wanted on a daily basis. They said they went through 3-400 lbs of chicken wings a day and cooked around 100 steaks a day. It was an unreal amount of food, but they are feeding over 100 oversized college kids 3 times a day.
