This is a big lake. I mean huge. With every possible thing to fish: shoreline grass, offshore grass, ledges, creeks, bluffs......

Friday wasn't good. Ran up to Triana and tried getting back to Swan Lake. It's a little tight in there with the water down a bit. I may go back when the water comes up and try it again.

Saturday was better. The shad were thick in the mouths of main lake pockets and creeks. The deeper ones below Elk were the best as that's where the winner was. The ones around Browns Ferry weren't as productive for me although I caught a ton of fish, they were smaller. Best baits were crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Water temps ranged from 72-76. Bass are still trying to decide where they want to be. Warmer weather has them still out of their predictable Fall haunts. It'll be soon.
