This team has no discipline on defense. Poor execution. Showing their butts, stupid frustration penalties, bad sportsmanship. That's directly the fault of the defensive coaching and head coach. Good coaching would fix that. They aren't. I'm sick of it.

I love Ole Miss. It's my school. I'm not as concerned about the W-L record as I am about the kind of team "we" are. I love to win, don't get me wrong.

Ole Miss was in a rough spot when they promoted the goofy bastatd they have now and it was because he was the only one who would of took the job. They might as well stick with him.

I like Matt Luke and thought he would do ok for a couple of years. He loves Ole Miss. But I don't like the lack of discipline. He must not be holding players accountable.

True.

I don't mind aggressive defense or even some swagger (to a point).
But our defense is soooooo bad that the idiotic stuff is making it even worse...if that is even possible. That's my point.

One of my good friends was Luke’s roommate. From what I have been told, The Defensive coordinator is gone after this year. He was highed by freeze. Luke didn’t want him but they would not let him fire the guy. He had a two year contract. It is up at the end of the year. He has never been a DC before and had never called defensive plays. He is horrible. Luke isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. He can’t go to a bowl this year. But, a winning respond this year and a bowl next year will keep him there for a number of years. He is a good recruiter. I think he is actually going to be a blessing in disguise for Ole Miss.

Will Mississippi ever have a good team? I know, I know, "one time they were ranked high", but wow. It's just not a football state. They seem to take baseball pretty seriously in the spring...

It seems Steele's time as a HC has been held against him but he was at Baylor when it was the arm pit of college football.....with his experience I don't understand why someone hasn't given him a shot.
