Great club with plenty of deer and turkey, nice camp with camper or mobile home spots available, walk-in cooler, low hunter to land ratio, family atmosphere, no drama. Check out the website!

Looks like some nice property in a really good area, but 55 members (plus family) on 7000 acres seems "crowded" to me.

Have you tried Google?

It's not I've been hunting down there with my uncle's most of my life and it's an excellent club

We will burn that bridge when we get there

I was a member of Camp Creek for several years...many of the members are up in age and don't hunt very hard....it has a good deer population and is extremely family oriented....many green fields that are always in good shape with shooting houses...my son and I enjoyed many good times there but hunt much closer to home now......best part of the club was socializing and enjoying time shooting the bull around campfires at night and on various porches during the day.....one of the biggest losses to me was when Leroy Arthur passed away.....he was one of the cornerstones of the club

How do you determine who gets to sign out spots first?

Leroy got me a job at Jenkins Brick back in 95. He was a great man.

It's one of the few places still around like that I'd imagine.

Like Bamafan1966, I was a member for 4 years. Had a camper spot and everything. People are nice and we have made some great friends down there. Very kid and women friendly. If you want a club where you want to be in solitude, do some male only bonding, and get hammered all weekend long, keep looking. This isn't that kind of club.

My wife and I decided to try out a new club closer to us this year is the only reason we didn't join back and trust me, it was a really hard choice. I had opportunities to kill deer on a lot of trips. The biggest one I ever shot was a 210lb 7pt on opening day my second season with the club. My wife also killed a couple of decent bucks on the place. I know there were at least 4 bucks that topped 200lbs last year. For a club this size, there was very little drama mainly because the age and mindset of the members. Just do what you're supposed to do and everyone gets along.

As for signing out, everyone has a member number. You pin in where you are and there you go. If you hunt a spot that morning, you have 1st dibs that afternoon and same for afternoon and next morning hunts. Deer hunting is better than average. Turkey hunting, not as good as it once was but still a few birds down there.

Like I said, it was a tough decision to change clubs and who knows, we may join back sometime depending on where we end up living.
