Are you 100% positive these leaves and acorns came off of the tree in the pic? That’s red oak acorns and leaves with white oak bark. Never seen it before. I’m pretty positive. I didn’t see any other leaves and no other oaks close. That’s why I was confused.

White oak tree. Those leaves and acorns came from a scarlet oak (red oak). There you have it. Double check those leaves again.

I believe a turkey oak has 3 lobes per leaf. Looks similar to a turkey track

Leaves say red but bark says white. I can pick those two types out but all the varieties I can't differentiate. Might be a not so common variety of oak.
