1. heat treated novaculite on deer leg bone

4. Texas Rootbeer chert on deer leg bone
5. Texas Pedernales chert on deer leg bone
all are wrapped with real deer sinew. If you are going to use the knife then put some clear poly on the sinew to protect it

pics are on the way. Yes, they are functional, kept maybe the obsidian. You could use the obsidian but it is like glass, not as strong as the chert blades.
