Help is on the way, Bo Nix can't get there fast enough. He's ok, but he ain't no savoir. Plus, Gus will have him ruined in no time. # 1 duel threat #2 overall in the country coming out of the elite 11 this Summer. He's for real and Gus will prolly ruin him . Have you watched him in person? I’ve watched him play. He is good, I don’t think he is great. He doesn’t have to go through a real progression. He slings it to the first guy. Elite 11 is touch football. I don’t understand all the love for guys who can throw the ball with no rush coming at them. I also don’t think Tua’s little brother is all that great and he is to short. I predict he never takes a meaningful snap at Bama. Paul Tyson is the best of the 3. Glad you know talent better than Saban. You missed your calling

He may not work out but I’ve seen quiet a few D-1 QB’s in person. He has the best arm I’ve ever seen. His height is conserving but I’ll refer You to Drew Breese. I guess time will tell.

Tualia’s arm is very good. I agree. I’ve watched him play in person twice and twice on TV. He has great arm speed. He has been hurt by receivers dropping balls this year. He puts up huge numbers. But, he throws the ball a lot to get them. He may turn out to be great. But, he and Tyson have very similar skills and arm strength. But, Tyson is taller be 4-5 inches. I can’t wait to see them play each other this year. Drew Brees is a great example of a short QB. If you watch him, he releases the ball very high and throws a real overhand ball from his toes. That is what makes him so great. Not many QBs throw like that.

Help is on the way, Bo Nix can't get there fast enough. Is he bringing a new offensive line, running backs and a good offensive coordinator with him? Well since you mentioned it he won't be the only new recruit and there are rumors you get Bo you get Daddy too. Maybe Pat will be the new OC I would rather have him as HC over Malzahn. Yes, he's a HS coach but he's got college coaching experience and I'd take him 5:1 over Gus. I played a little ball with Pat. His older brother was our QB my SO and JR years and Pat was the JV QB. Their dad was the best coach Albertville HS has had in the past 35 years. He got fired because of a political deal and went to Etowah, where Patrick was the starter as a sophomore and destroyed us my Senior year.

Conrad Nix went 4-7 & 6-5 in the two years he coached at Albertville. If he was the best they have had in the past 35 years.....Albertville must really suck.

I don't know where you got that info, but it's not correct. I don't remember the record my sophomore year, but his last year (my Junior year) we were 8-3, County champs, 2nd in the area and lost in the first round of the playoffs. If you don't believe me, I can dig the stat sheets out of storage and post them for all of Albertville to see. Albertville has had teams with better records, but not many of them. He had a very good coaching staff and if he had been allowed to continue to coach, he would have had a good career. We were an all white 6A school then. 8-3 is pretty damned salty for a bunch of hillbilly crackers playing 6A ball.
