Auburn students who get tickets for games are required to use their "Tiger Card" or whatever it is to swipe into the stadium when they arrive to prove they were at the game.
If they have tickets and do not attend, they get some kind of "demerits" or something. If they get a certain amount of these "demerits" then they are not permitted to buy tickets the next season. Basically, they're forced to attend at risk of losing "buying privileges."
Further, they can't sell their tickets UNLESS they also give their personal "Tiger Card" to that student to use to swipe into the game and thus match the ticket with the student card. Jimmy couldn't give his ticket to Susie and then Susie use her card to swipe for Jimmy's ticket, or it would show that Jimmy didn't show up.
It's a totally BS system. A lot of students swipe and then walk around for a few minutes before leaving.
I don't know if Alabama has the same system or something similar. I doubt it. Auburn is totally stupid on this.
When I was a student I wouldn't have attended the crappy games or I'd have left early, too. What's the point in staying for a 70-10 win? Just so you can be there in the fourth quarter to root, root, root for the home team? Bah. Better things to do.

The student section has been challenged. This will be pretty tame so it can continue but when a real rival comes to town, they will give it their most profave effort to date. Why? Because they are college kids and bucking authority is what they do.

So they've agreed to bring at back as long as it stays clean.....there is a 10% chance it stays clean this weekend, and there is a 0% chance it stays clean for Auburn. If there was a % chance less than 0, it would be that.
With that said, anyone ever actually listened to the LSU fans with the band plays "Neck"? LOL, and it's not just the students either....

When Steve Sloan, I believe, tried to tamp down Rammer Jammer years ago he was called a nerd, a goody-two-shoes, basically told to shut up and go away.
Today we decry all the stuff on social media and how society is in decline with civility, but students yelling AGAINST THE WALL and F-bombs in a football setting with elderly folks and kids around is OK.

I love LSU fans.....truth be told, I'm a [not so] closeted LSU fan as long as they're not playing Bama. I've always said, if I had no ties to any school and moved to the south and just picked a team to be a fan of, it'd probably have been them. You can tell they just are always having a good time. I remember when I was at UA (03-07), the F*** Auburn was just once during the verse, not repeatedly. The more the administration made it a thing, the more it became a thing.
