# 1 duel threat #2 overall in the country coming out of the elite 11 this Summer. He's for real and Gus will prolly ruin him .

Have you watched him in person? I’ve watched him play. He is good, I don’t think he is great. He doesn’t have to go through a real progression. He slings it to the first guy. Elite 11 is touch football. I don’t understand all the love for guys who can throw the ball with no rush coming at them.

I also don’t think Tua’s little brother is all that great and he is to short. I predict he never takes a meaningful snap at Bama.

Paul Tyson is the best of the 3.

Yes, I've seen him play when he was in Scottsboro, Folks that rank them for a living rank Nix ahead of the other two.

Was there not a rule put into place that prevents a “new” coach from being allowed to get hired and to bring/ recruit players from his school?

If so, Daddy can’t go with Bo.

I’d love to know what Charles Barkley is saying about all this.

Yes, there is a rule that says a coach cannot be hired at a college, for a non on the field position, that has recruited any of his players within 2 years. My understanding is, if it is for an on the field position, it is okay.

Here is the Rule:

Rule 11.4

In football, during a two-year period before a prospective student-athlete's anticipated enrollment and a two-year period after the prospective student-athlete's actual enrollment, an institution shall not employ (or enter into a contract for future employment with) an individual associated with the prospective student-athlete in any athletics department noncoaching staff position or in a strength and conditioning staff position.

This definition includes, but is not limited to, parents, legal guardians, handlers, personal trainers and coaches. An individual who meets this definition retains such status during the enrollment of the prospective student-athlete at the institution.

Listening to Gus's press conference on Jox yesterday he was saying their O-line was young and they had a lot of young players. Seems this is the speech every year. Seems like Auburn is like Peter Pan and Neverland. No one ever gets old.

Nothing at all wrong with your current OC other than the fact that he is being forced to run Gus's BS gimmick offense with Gus still calling probably 65% of the plays. Watch when AU is on offense Gus is constantly on the headset telling them what to do when the play is being called. Watch Saban, he my get on the headset and chew someone's Azz but you never see him on it when plays are being called. The problem is the booger picker, not the staff or the players.

We had to listen to the same excuses when Buster Brown was our coach. EVERY team faces the same challenges of graduation. A coach has to manage recruiting to make sure you don't lose your entire offensive line in the same season and start freshmen and sophomores the next with little experience.

I’ve watched Bo Nix play multiple times. Yawn. Dude ain’t near as good as anyone claims. He seems like one that’ll be a high school hero. Probably wind up like stidham, especially with Gus coaching him up.
