It is stamped LYMAN 270 WIN SIZE G92 The piece of brass is all the way in. I can see it from the open in. If I put the decap pin in it doesn't look long enough to knock the primer out. I've googled and it doesn't come up. What have I got. P.S. You should have seen it before I cleaned it up!

That piece of brass is in as far as it will physically go. Unless you lubed the case and have the hand strength of Arnold Schwarzenegger, you can't push a case all the way into a resizing die. Try this. Take a toothpick and slide it up the inside wall of the die until you feel the tip meet the body/shoulder junction. Mark the length on the other end of the toothpick and compare it to a 270 Winchester case.

I had it on the press. It wont make a full stroke. This is a die I got from somebody else. i added pics of inside. It can't be a FL die.
