I am searching for someone with predator hunting experience or without is also fine. That is interested in going out west to hunt wolves in Idaho, Montana or Wyoming. This would be a trip for likely winter of 2019 or 2020. There is a lot of logistical planning that needs to go into the trip. So I need to find a few serious partners before making any hardset plans. I will make it known that I am already working on one part of the logistics which is acquiring two snowmobiles and trailer. But other than that I am just in stage of looking for serious fellow predator hunter looking to go hunt wolves. This trip will be hard core in that it will likely be at least 7 days or more and include wilderness camping and lots of traveling thru backcountry. Wolves require lots of effort to successfully harvest on purpose and best time to do it is when ground is covered in snow for tracking and travel purposes. Anyone interested send pm or text 251-504-5192

I have had 2 Wolf tags in my pocket, one in AK and one in ID while on other hunts.

The closest I've been is seeing fresh tracks just outside Hailey, ID.
I consider a Wolf one of the toughest hunts in NA.

Absolutely one of the hardest animals to hunt hands down but most definitely can be hunted successfully. Just requires a lot of dedication and effort to say the least along with ability to cover long distances. I know of several western predator hunters who harvest wolves every winter but It’s not easy.
