turkey_killer OP 8 point T Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 1,502 Cullman,AL	My brother shot one on September 23rd. Anyone else killed a banded dove yet? He called it in and they told him it was released in Fairview on 1/1/17. He killed it around stouts mountain between hanceville and dodge city.

It was banded in 2013 as an adult, in st johns bay Michigan.

I looked down and noticed it had bands on both legs but I kept walking. Had lunch with a guy i duck hunt with and told him about it. He said he wanted those bands so I decided to grab a pair of scissors on my way back down and remove the bands. As I scanned the area and saw no one was around, I knelt down and started removing the legs, I look up and there was an older lady starring at me in horror while I'm holding a pair of scissors and 2 banded pigeon legs. I tossed the pigeon back in the gutter, said good afternoon and went back to my office. I'll never forget the look on that old lady's face when she walked up on some guy cutting up a dead pigeon in the gutter. It was awesome. Only person I know to this day that has pink bands on his lanyard...
