Does the seat belt recall, due to trucks burning up count?

2013 5.0 here with 80-something on the odo. I'm 2nd owner. previous owner had a water pump replaced under warranty at like 10k because it was making some kind of noise, so they replaced it to be safe. I had a plastic fitting on a coolant line replaced about a year ago or so, because it had a slow leak. Otherwise, zero issues. the 5.0's have a very good reputation from everything I've read and heard. It's got some get-up-and-go too.

Gas mileage fair? I'm looking at a truck with 68,000 on it, 4 wheel drive, 4-door with a lot of goodies for $20,000. Never been wrecked. I've 3.31s and 34" BFGs. I don't drive too conservatively and get 15-16 in town, 20-21 on the highway.

I'm in stop & go city traffic almost exclusively and averaging about 14.8. I reset it on our trip from Tuscaloosa to Gulf Shores, and on that trip (mostly flat roads going 65ish) I averaged like 19.2. On trips from Tuscaloosa to Memphis (interstate driving around 80ish, and it's more hilly), I'll average upper-16's or maybe 17. I've checked the computer's math and it's pretty doggone close (like, within a few 1/10th's)

Mine gets about 18.5 mpg on the hwy driving 80-90 what part of the state (hilly or flat?) Also, are you leveled and what size tires? Also, is yours a crew or ext cab? I ask because I've noticed my mpg begins dropping pretty noticeably once I start exceeding 75ish. Granted, pretty much any time I'm on the interstate I'm also loaded down with luggage.

They advertise on NFL games, so they should be on the Boycott list and own a team (Detroit Lions) and naming rights to the stadium

Let me rephrase this a bit.....I did NOT have the computer changed. The tires are 3.5% bigger than stock, so the speedometer, odometer (and therefore the computer mpg) are off accordingly. The computer was accurate BEFORE going to slightly bigger tires, and the computer discrepency NOW, is proportionate to the increased tire size. Hope that makes sense.
