I have zero talent myself and am not really good at anything..but im curious as to what yalls are. What is one thing you consider yourself very good at..or maybe you are good at multiple things..like maybe drawing or singing for examples..or a sport.

I'm not great at anything but I'm pretty good at a few things...
I'm really good at figuring out how to fix things.
I'm not Grand Ol Opry talented, but I can sing pretty good too. Didn't know about that one until I was about 40.

I can lay blocks and brick, finish sheetrock, plumb a house, electrical work, HVAC, paint, carpentry, framing and trim, hang wallcoverings, vinyl siding, pour and finish concrete, as well as roofing, both metal and asphalt. I can play the piano, guitar, mandolin, bass guitar, banjo, and dobro. I am not boasting, just giving a answer to your question.

I’m pretty good at shooting the breeze with folks. I can talk to a PhD or a guy with a grade school education. I enjoy talking to folks. My wife says I enjoy it too much. She’s had to come find me or wait in the car because I was chatting with someone. I guess I’m a BS artist.

Industrial Sales - I’m one of the few salesmen that actually listen before I talk and spend hours learning my customers processes in order to become a product consultant
Public Speaking - over the years I’ve given more than 350 presentations, key note addresses, etc.
These two things have made me pretty successful. That and a really love my career.

Construction. Not bragging but I can build just about anything. Self taught on a lot of stuff, as I’m really good at figuring stuff out that I don’t know how to do, but I also get it from being around my dad and grand dad. They were both excellent carpenters. My father-in-law says if I don’t know how to do something, just tell me I can’t. I’m stubborn enough to figure it out then. I guess just out of spite.

I started working at a wore out Asphalt Plant in Highschool one summer. I was as green as you get. I ran after a Crescent wrench one day to adjust the belt I was supposed to be cleaning because it was tracking wrong. I had learned holding a flashlight from Dad basic mechanics so it looked easy. They saw me running with the wrench and shut the plant down. I showed them what I thought they watched, smiled and let me adjust it and it save me a ton of shoveling. They let me expiriment and go to town after that. I learned how to work on and run wore out equipment from old Cat 950 loaders to skidsteers and actually mastered a dang Case Backhoe with John Deeres wobble stick controls. Went from there to my own business paving and fixing all our old wore out stuff as well. Finally went back to college and got an MIS degree and started in Software Development. That led to another business in computer repair and back into Developing. I tell people regularly and have even brought it up on Job interviews. I feel like a Jack of all Trades and a master at none, but if I can't solve the problem I can figure out what needs done regardless.
Otherwise I'm just a part time drunk that can't hunt for crap no matter who I try to learn from.

This got me reminiscing I'm from the Dakotas on both sides My close distant family Homesteaded. I've alway's wondered if just being a "good hand" came natural to me. We moved here when I was 6 in 1978. My Dad was a miner and he worked underground here for 40 years until he retired. Any miner will tell you that a good miner can figure out about anything and he taught me that. When I was little, He was at work all the time and barely home when I was awake but when he was, I'd get in his old leather Redwings and walk around and dig through his metal lunch pail. I still remember how it smelt like Redman and Skoal wintergreen. He's 71 now and still tough as nails and I'd never touch him. He's a gentle guy but mean as a snake if it comes to it.

I'm pretty good at figuring out how to fix stuff or build stuff from power plants to cabins, and then pretty good at making drawings to show someone else how to build it for fix it, or taking those drawings and fixing the stuff by myself if I need or want to. If I'm working on my own stuff, I usually just skip steps one and two unless it's really complicated and then I go back to step one. Drawing stuff on paper helps me work out the kinks in the mental picture of what I want to do. For a while there I was pretty good at attracting hot women who would later find other guys they liked better than me.

Not what I would call talented, but I cook pretty good. I can eat even better. Those are the only two things I do well. I've always felt I missed the talent line when they were handed out.

I can follow instructions and mimic teaching well. I can usually figure out how to do whatever I need to get done.
I play guitar and sing in our church praise band, and have also played the drums, and cajon for that. I have also dabbled in playing the mandolin, bass, and dulcimer, but I wouldn't consider myself a player of those but can get some songs out.
I love to be in the kitchen or cooking outdoors on the grill, griddle, smoker, fryer, boiler, etc.
Different summer jobs have taught me many different things. I worked in hayfields driving tractors, working on equipment and slinging bales I cut grass and mopped floors early on and learned to be meticulous. I worked for a car dealership changing oil and tires, and washing cars. I worked at a pallet production company where I learned to drive a forklift. I worked at a Feed and Seed store where I learned about seed, combines, and even did some electrical. I worked at a hardware store in customer service and could figure what people needed from hand motions and also a lot about home repairs.
I like to do woodworking and can make some stuff but I haven't really developed that talent to a fine craft.
I am also a civil engineer by trade and have worked for a contractor operating simple equipment like skid steers, dump trucks and concrete trucks. I work for a utilities dept now in water distribution drafting and design.
I am very thankful for my diverse talents and owe it all to God, for without him I would be nothing.

I'm mechanically disinclined. Loaded my first ammo at 12 years old started studying terminal ballistics at 14.
Only hits count.

This has been interesting to read through. I enjoy doing a lot of things that I'm not necessarily very good at - hunting, fishing, sports, etc.
One thing that I don't know is a talent that I am very good at is picking up on patterns. Noticing items or behavior that are out of place or line up too well. I somehow can pick up on things like that very fast. That has served me well.

Well I don’t have any talent worthy of AGT, but I can cook just about anything, pretty handy at any type of carpentry, laying tile, and have a knack for landscaping.
Skill I wish I had would be able to work on cars and repair anything needed.

Hello brother

I have a pretty good personality and coupled with the fact have enough schooling to make me a successful optometrist. Used to blow a duck call good enough to place in a few calling contests but haven't practiced in a while. The last couple of years I discovered a new talent for finding land devoid of turkeys. Managing to marry the hottest woman I've ever laid eyes on. Dr. B
