That gorilla tape is something serious. My first boat was a 1978 Lowe aluminum boat (think basstracker) And the rivets in the console turned loose while I was fishing one day. I put a couple big pieces of gorilla tape on it and ran it that way for about a year before I put a couple screws in it. Took an act of God to get that tape off
We will burn that bridge when we get there

The flex seal tape works great, it pretty much does what they say it will do, the spray flex steel isn't that great..
