So we are 31 days away from opening day of bow season. Who thinks we will have a decent cool down before it gets here? If no cool down who’s hunting in this crap.

Up here we have 7 days til it opens. Went scouting today and it was HOT.

Georgia’s season came in last Saturday, I went and was okay until the sun got up high enough to shine straight down on me. I am not going back until there is a cold front coming through

I wouldn't mind going but a few years ago someone decided they needed my bow more than I did and stole my entire bow case with everything in it. Our bow season doesn't come in until next month but if I ever decide to get back into it I'll be buying a crossbow so me and my son can both shoot it.

I’m going to hunt out of state next weekend. Up in air on bow or crossbow.

I doubt I will go deer hunting before the middle of December. Too dang hot.

Unless some strange unusually cool front comes through I will not hunt in Alabama until January unless my daughter asked to go or some buddy bugs me enough to take him.

This is the second week of bow season here in NC. Last week it was 95 degrees and we have a hurricane this week. My guess is possibly a blizzard next week.

its not the heat that gets me so much as the bugs. last year i got chased out of the woods before sun even came up by the most bloodthirsty swarm of skeeters i've ever seen. totally impervious to the repellent i used. stuff of nightmares. didn't go back til november and even then just to catch the rut. got a theracell this year hope it works
