What is everyone in north Bama seeing so far? No a whole lot going on around Cullman that I’m seeing.

I could have limited out every morning last week here at the house.. I havent seen a bird one this week here in blount county

Got a picture of a cloud of birds in Dekalb county. I see 2 fields in Lee co daily. One has birds right now one doesn’t.

Not much hope at all in N bama. It's hot and dry lots of corn being cut. Not very promising at all

Don't know about the rest of you guys but the doves I'm seeing are bigger than I've seen in a long time.

Two fields in Russell county are absolutely loaded. Shooting one Sat and the other Sun. Can’t wait to get the dog out for his second season. Been shooting over him a couple days a week.

Not enough doves to get me excited. I expect a mediocre opener.

Saw a couple of limits in a small field yesterday down here in Baldwin.

My millet is on fire and increasing but they are starting to pick corn. None really close has been picked yet so I hope they take the rest of the week off. Im loaded

It's the picking they do in the early part of next week that you've got to worry about.

Corn isn't picked. Cotton is. Sorry that's like saying you harvest a deer.

When I was growing up, rich folks used a single row corn picker that they pulled behind the tractor. We never had anything but a corn puller, and that was me. We would back the 51 Chevy pickup to the second set of rows, pull 6 rows at a time, throw it into the truck, then back the truck up and start over.

I'm not seeing many doves and I'm tired of shooting clay.

Yes. Corn is either pulled or shelled. Wish some birds would just show up too PCP

Shot the crap out of them in N Georgia yesterday. There were more doves than i have seen in years.

2 fields I'm watching are loaded, hopefully the dove will stay until this coming weekend.

The dove really showed up over the last couple of days. If they stay, shouldn't take long for a list Saturday. Happy Hunting to all

One of Beck’s Turf’s fields filled up this weekend. It also looked like the field on I65 NB at the Hwy 14/Millbrook exit picked up some birds this weekend also

Got good numbers of birds in the VERBENA area.

We’ll be hunting in fyffe Al and from what I’ve heard we’ve got really good numbers... hopefully they stick around.

It’s as good as it’s gonna be in Alabama. Low numbers because all we usually get is local raised birds this time of year. Just for fun check out Maers/Goldman in Argentina website. Took family last year and had a ball. Shells are high, but experience was worth it. Great time. A bird hunters dream hunt.

My field is loaded, talked to a buddy who has two fields and he says the same that both of his are loaded. Also spoke to a guy in Winston Co that is loaded. I guess its like usual Got to be near Bankhead LOL

Well hell, how does one get in on a "loaded" field? I've been knocking on a few doors and nothing doing.
