We shut down cutting rice just before dark and was leaving the field when I saw something walking on the road at a distance. I hauled arse to it and it was a big ole black hog. It saw me and jumped into a little canal and came out into the field we just cut. He ran out about 150 yds and stopped on a levee. By this time I was laid out across the hood and chunked one at it. I heard the hit and the dang thing turned and ran straight to me. I opened up the AR and after about 5 more shots( may have been a miss or 2 in there) he dropped about 100 yds from the truck. I think this is the one that was tearing up all the rice field.
