We have a NutriBullet. I overload it sometimes, which is not good.
Also, almond "milk" is synthetic nastiness. You like it?

I do. Ideally I'd want RAW dairy milk, but you can't buy it anywhere, and Daniel White won't get me any from his dairy I actually believe that the commercial pasteurized milk we drink is mostly bad for us. All the good stuff about milk is in the fat, and even buying Vitamin D milk much of the fat is removed and/or homogenized. And the heat from the pasteurization process denatures the proteins (amino acids) such that your body can't even use them. Between all of that and the leaching plastic jugs that it comes in, it's making men stop producing testosterone, and actually produce estrogen (it's introducing synthetic estrogens into the body). There is probably more nutritional research and internet fodder about this very topic than anything else.

We buy Fairlife, which IMO is the best tasting milk out there. More expensive but I don't care. Their chocolate is great, too. TIP - When using the Nutri Bullet, make sure the rubber washer is secured in the blade/lid area before using. It makes a big freakin' mess or so I'm told.

(I know what I said about the dairy stuff, but still )

Y'all pay close attention to what you're putting in your smoothies 'cause it adds up fast! 1 cup frozen blueberries + 1 cup 2% organic milk + 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) of honey = 340 calories! You could leave out the honey I guess and drop it down to 200 calories but that's still a lot of calories and the blueberries aren't sweet enough to make it good. That's about as basic of a smoothie as you can get. I don't know what you end up with by adding a bunch of other stuff. This is just about how I make mine and if that's 340 calories then I'm good with it. That's not much, compared to shoving two plates of "it's healthy chicken and broccoli and rice" from the China buffet in my piehole.

I’ll gladly take a 400-500 calorie protein shake over empty calorie toast/jelly. I don’t drink shakes for snacks, only for meals.

We use a Vitamix
You can get raw milk still. Just gotta know people. We have 1 we buy from weekly and another we supplement with if our other runs low.
And the foods don’t matter as much as the macros. I wish I could find something relatively local. I was serious, ol DW is about 25 mins from me and he's the ONLY one who would even pretend to say yes.
