Anybody else going to give this 3 day hunt a go at the end of the week. The weather is supposed to cool off and bachelor groups of bucks are hitting the mineral licks daily. I’ve gone from not going a month ago to can’t wait for Friday to get here.

Planning on it, but I just joined a new property and haven’t found anything but does yet. I have one buck on camera a week ago, but nothing since.

Other than the rut this time of year is the only time I see grown deer during daylight. I really don’t care for the velvet but I reckon I can live with it.

I"d probably hunt a time or two if we had a season in MS or Bama.

Me and my buddies are heading up there this Thursday and can’t wait. We are gonna make it a work weekend if there’s no good ones on the trophy rocks.

I’ll be up there hunting my buddies property. Going to sweat our a$$ off! Hope it’s worth it. We usually see plenty of bucks this time of year in the bean fields. Just never could hunt them till now.

Still trying to decide. Haven't had a chance to go pull cards, but the bucks are usually hitting the trophy rocks like clockwork right now.

Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

Yep, I’ll be hunting at the house. Only mornings though.

My son is. Too dang hot for me.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Velvet deer are ugly so I have no desire.

I'll be road hunter patrolling all weekend though. I fear its going to be bad.

No interest in deer hunting when it's 90 degrees.

I’m gonna get down from the stand at about 8:30 or 9 each morning. I work outside for a living and 10am is when the heat really starts picking up.

My thoughts exactly, but there are some crazy enough to do it. Already hearing of a few bucks being taken in the lowcountry of SC. Season started last Wednesday.

We need this hunting opportunity in Alabama. It's obviously not a biological negative and can spur some financial jingles. Then we can be like other states, too.

My farm is surrounded by thousands of acres of bean fields, with county roads running around all of them. Its gonna be a slaughter from the road. You can count on it.
