I enjoy watching those hog killing videos with the night vision optics. My question is why in the heck don't they ever use a suppressor when shooting them? After the first shot, they all scatter like quail and it makes picking others off very difficult. Having said that, my next hog will be my first so I don't know much about hunting them, but it seems if you could quieten the shot, one could kill a lot more in the group. Thoughts?

Most are using suppressors. A rifle with a silencer is still loud enough to scare off game. It’s not like what you see in the movies. Lol You mean it doesn't just go "psst"? Damn. That's disappointing. I really love the Hollywood habit of putting suppressors on a revolver.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I was hoping to see one of those videos where they just mow down about 20 of those things at a sitting. About the most they get is 3 (if that) out of a big group. Dr. B

Also, most ammos are built to mushroom and they don't perform as built at those slow speeds.
