Has anyone been following this.American Plumbing has been issued a temporary shutdown by Ala Attorney General Steve Marshall. Maybe someone can post the link. I plan of attending the hearing next Thur to be a fly on the wall and see how this all goes down.

AG office hammered them. Claims of fraudulent pricing, working either without or outside scope of professional licenses, etc. Seized assets and put into receivership with a firm in Miami to handle claims.

I could show you some of their handiwork and you’d see what they’re talking about. They basically destroyed a property in our neighborhood redoing a septic system.never finished either from the looks of It.I have some in laws that hired them in the last few weeks,we told them about how they were, they hired them any way,even paid them in advance 5000. Before they even started they said it would be another 1700. This is for work on an existing home that they just boughtand just needed some maintenance.Luckily they come to they’re senses and fired them and was able to put a stop payment on the check. They ought to be in jail and I hope they get nailed.

It has to be pretty bad when the AG's office gets involved in what would normally be civil matters.

Anyone know what happens if a business shuts down but is an Llc. Are the owners still responsible after it closes. Could all their equipment be auctioned to help pay for fines.

Was it plumbing 911 in moody that got shut down the same way? They pulled his plumbing and gas license and banded him from plumbing again. Last I heard, he was pumping septics and screwing folks over again...

I'm not gonna name any names but weve gone behind several companies around bham and some of these schemes are crazy that they pull on people.. Had one that the sewer was stopped up so they called X company and they sold them on a cleanout install and cleaning the sewer. Well, shortly after the sewer stopped up again and they got our #. We get there and they did install a cleanout in the backyard but the problem was that the sewer left out the front and the clean out that was installed went to nothing... Just dirt.

How the Hell do their crews do this day after day and sleep at night. Or, do they just have 3 or 4 family employees or partners that do this?

They don't care Wiley. They have several crews it's a big operation. The workers are just as bad as the owners.

Just read the whole statement from the AG. Dayum! They in some hot water... I actually know the people involved too. Never would have expected that from them but I guess you never know sometimes.

They had a fleet of trucks and vans. All that equipment looked sespect to me.
