We're about to head to the beach and I'm throwing just these 3 ingredients into the cooler: Vodka (Deep Eddy or Titos) Club Soda or Seltzer (We usually use either plain club soda or lime seltzer unsweetened stuff only) Squeeze of fresh lime Fill glass with ice cubes Pour in Vodka Squeeze lime Pour over club soda Enjoy... It's not too sweet and it's not too much alcohol and it's very refreshing. It's not even as heavy as light beer. Even light beer can make me feel bloated in the hot summer. What's your favorite summer drink recipe?

I'm a beer man but...........Daily's Bahama Mama's frozen packs. Nothing special, but on hot summer days they fill the need. Throwem in a cooler, ice em down and add ice cream salt. Stays frozen all day and works great when working at the camp. Instant cool down and alcohol at the same time.
There are two rules for success: 1. Never tell everything you know.

Favorite summer drink is, without a doubt, a Mojito....also you mentioned drinks with a lot of carbs above. We're doing the whole low-carb/keto thing right now, so excessive carbs and sugar is a no-go.
My mojito consists of Light Rum, Club Soda, fresh mint, fresh squeezed lime and truvia instead of sugar. It's virtually indistinguishable from a regular Mojito (with sugar) and it's sugar free and no carb.
There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:
1. All Politicians Are Liars 2. All Gun Laws Are an Infringement 3. Taxation Is Theft

When the peaches start getting right, I love to make a pitcher of frozen peach daiquiris. Maybe only once or twice a summer but they sure are good!

I tried this tonight, little bland. Then thought it might be better with gin than vodka, so tried that. Then realized I'd rather just have a gin and tonic, since I was really close to that anyway. So now I've got a great buzz. Thanks.
