i have used them for .30'06 and .30-30. slow but work just fine. get a good caliper for case length trimming. and remember they are neck size only, so used brass only good for the gun in which the brass was fired ...

If I use my spent brass do I still need to worry with case length?

Yes you do. Case will lengthen a tad every time you shoot. That's why brass doesn't last forever. As it lengthens it weakens. It bench mounted press does not have to take up much room. If you are only loading 20 or so it's fine. Going for 100 or so I'd want it on a bench.

If that is all you will load I would suggest H4831SC if you only want to use one powder.

I just don't have no room at the moment to be setting up a bench and storing stuff. That's why I asked about the Lee Loader. Is there any problem with using one powder? Or do I really need more than one for those calibers?

When I first got into reloading I didn't have a lot of room either. Matter of fact I did it at the kitchen table at night. I mounted my RCBS rock chucker to a plywood base, then I used C-clamps to clamp it to the table. I prefer this as now I can use my reloading table for multiple uses. Here's a link to my instagram that shows it...

Easy reloading mount

You can use one powder for all. Look at the load data and find one that works in all 3. Most powder MFG's websites list loads, find the powder that they recommend that happens to be useful in all those calibers.

I've found IMR4064 to be pretty useful in 30-06, 2506, and 7x57.

Go with a slower burning powder if you want more velocity from those three. H4350 would be a better choice for just one powder.

I’ve used IMR4350 for 280 and 243. I’m pretty sure it would work well for 270. I’ve never used 4064 but l’ve noticed there seems to be a load for just about everything with it.

Imr4350 is the only powder i use in my 270. 4350 and eldx's are my go to in 270win. If i couldn't find imr4350 on the shelf the next in line would be Ramshot hunter

RL19 seems to load up and perform very similar to IMR 4350.

I have used a ton of Lee Loaders in the past and they work for loading a box here or there. If I was backpacking or living in the bush that would be the best tool because it is all 1 tool and 1 caliber. However... Also look at a Lyman 310 for your needs. I find those are a little better for what you are trying to do. In my opinion of course. You can get setup for several calibers pretty quickly. You can pick up the dies off ebay for a lot less than they go for retail. You will need a small and large handle set.

More of an investment but a better setup in my opinion. Still something you can keep in a tupperware bin or cabinet and not have a press mounted to a bench, etc.

Also understand that Lee makes a bench plate you can mount a press on and take it on/off a bench/table and they also make a free standing press mounts, etc.

I use to live in an Apartment. I was a pro at this kind of thing at one time.

Thanks for the opinion. That and 7x57's pic has got me thinking about going ahead and getting a press. Can't find a .280 or 7-08 Lee Loader, and I've got a few more I'd like to load for.I'm thinking of still getting what Loaders that I can. Seems like something good to have to be able to take with you if needed.I'm not a full-fledge prepper, but they could come in handy one day in certain situations...

In regards to the Lyman 310... Lee makes a hand press that works very similarly but uses standard dies. I have owned one in the past and was happy with it at a time in my life where everything had to go in a box for storage under the bed when not in use. Just another non-bench option.
