I'm more curious to see if whichever one doesn't start will transfer to another school. Jalen's dad said his kid would for sure.

Saban isn't going to allow tua to get into trouble. Hes going to micro manage him into a "run the offense" guy and we will never see the true versatility of tua unless they get behind. Saban likes to mitigate risk and passing the ball involves risk, especially downfield. That's why he has never put a qb in the nfl (McCarron backers stfu, let's be realistic) As a Bama fan I will take Saban’s management style every time as a job well done when that management style Equals 5 Big fat Gawdy National Championship Rings.

Jalen, will transfer by game 4.

Jalen, will transfer by game 4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Jalen transfers before the season ends he would have to sit out some games next year, but...if he graduates in December and then transfers he will be able to play immediately.

jalen isnt going anywhere. Too late in the process. Get the degree and probably another ring then go wherever he can.
Georgia Football..Acts like Bama but has a trophy case like South Carolina.

Jalen, will transfer by game 4. If he's gonna be a whinny, trouble making, wedge on the team...i hope so. He lost the job the last 3 games last season. He did NOTHING in the spring game, except lose ground to Mac. Team is tua's and he's qb1 unless he gets injured. Mac may move to qb1 if that happens. Jalen will hang around and graduate and transfer at Christmas break.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Jalen is still 26-2 and every coach in the country would give their left nut to have a QB with a record like that. Jay Barker was 35-2-1 and nobody would confuse him for a great QB. Jalen is a great athlete but like Jay, his record is inflated due to the talent around him and the great defenses that Bama puts out every year. Like it was stated above if a defense has enough talent on their front 7 to load the box and shut down Alabama’s running game, then Jalen is going to struggle because he’s inaccurate and has trouble reading defenses. Sure he’s going to have games where he throws for a lot of yards against the Kentucky’s and Vandy’s of the world but against the better teams he’s going to struggle. I don’t know which one the better option is... it’s obvious that Tua is light years ahead of Jalen in the passing game, and Jalen is more of a threat with his legs. Both have their own skill set and I have no idea which skill set will ultimately win out. My personal opinion is Saban knows if he starts one over the other that the other is probably gone. Looking long term I think the QB that makes the team multi dimensional and would be there the longest would be the pick. Jalen = 1 dimensional with 1 or maybe 2 years left. Tua = multi dimensional with 2- maybe 3 years left. There’s also a chance he can talk Jalen into staying by offering him situational packages like the wildcat. I doubt he would get any interest from Tua on that. In the end I think Tua starts. I did not know why people get so emotional about that. I just want to see the one on the field that gives UA the best chance to win the game.

Hey don't forget about Brody. Well........ Brody was a starter for the Chiefs. He never played for Saban though.

Lol....... I know y’all liked to pick on Ol Brody but that kid was good. He had a pretty good career despite having some really bad talent around him. Back when Brody came through I remember it was a big deal to get a 4 Star or two every recruiting class. Man I don’t even want to think about back then because it was so bad.
I would love to have seen Brody have a shot with the talent that McCarron had around him.

Would not surprise me one bit if Jalen took the first snap against Louisville.
What shocks the ever-loving hell out of me is the number of Bama fans who seem to WANT Jalen to transfer...even to the point of suggesting he do it before this season. I don't guess any of them realize that if he did, and Tua got hurt, we have virtually NO ONE behind Mac Jones.

It's like they have this retarded fear that Jalen might start and play some if he doesn't transfer immediately...so they want that option off the table for Saban (the man who has won 6 NC's as a head coach).

They’re both going to start. Jalen has beefing up in the weight room and is getting close to 240 lbs. A 240 lb guy with 4.5 speed is going to be a dangerous hybrid WR/TE threat. He’s been running routes at practice. Trust the process!!!
