Initially thought he’d escape but after reading BC’s post of the Brett McMurphy story, Urban is toast. He Violated his contract, he and Shelly violated their Title IX requirements, and that doesn’t address any ethical issues.
Dang he’s toast.

According to the report that sparked all this, Courtney Smith, the abused wife, texted this with the wife of one of Meyer's closest longtime assistants: Courtney: “(Zach’s) trying to make me look crazy bc that’s what Shelley is saying (he’s doing)” Lindsey: “He (Urban) just said he (Zach) denied everything” Courtney: “I hope urban is smarter than that” Lindsey: “He (Urban) doesn’t know what to think” Courtney: “I don’t really care. Ya know” Lindsey: “Yeah, don’t worry about urb” Two weeks after the Oct. 25, 2015 incident, a Nov. 5, 2015 text exchange between Lindsey Voltolini and Courtney shows Meyer talked to Zach Smith about the incident. Lindsey is the wife of Brian Voltolini, considered one of Meyer’s most loyal staff members. Brian is Ohio State’s football operations director and has been part of Meyer’s staffs for 15 seasons at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida and Ohio State. https://www.facebook.com/TheBrettMcMurphy/posts/2042037522486968Based on this, if this is correct, Meyer knew in 2015 about what happened. The "he denied everything" text implicates him having knowledge and a convo with Zach Smith about it. Meyer flat-out lied about this a couple of weeks ago and said he never heard anything and implied that the initial report was made up. Meyer tried the "fake news" bullchit without using that phrase. Now he's exposed. Head coaches know everything. They always do.

I want to know what zach Smith has on urban. Considering he was with him at Bowling Green, Florida and OSU, I'd say enough to make sure a lot of people are worried.

I want to know what zach Smith has on urban. I’m guessing that besides being the grandson of Earl Bruce he knows where the bodies are buried in Bowling Green, Utah, Florida and Ohio State. Every coach is an enabler because all they are hired to do is win. Like Clem said, Mayer overlooked the spousal abuse because he knew it would mess up his inner circle. The head coach knows everything. They may not admit it but they do.

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer won’t be appearing in ads for Bob Evans restaurants.
The Ohio-based restaurant chain announced this week that Meyer would appear in ads as the “head breakfast coach.” But that partnership was nullified Thursday amid a university investigation into Meyer’s handling of domestic abuse allegations against a former assistant coach.
The company tweeted that it was “suspending the current partnership with Urban Meyer and removing all related content pending the results of the official Ohio State University investigation.”

A hearing on a protective order against fired Ohio State assistant football coach Zach Smith won’t happen Friday.
The clerk’s office in Delaware County says the next hearing on the case is now scheduled for Sept. 14. The office didn’t know why the Friday hearing was canceled and attorneys for Zach Smith and ex-wife Courtney didn’t respond to messages left Thursday.
