Mrs. Irish is not a fan of steak and eggs for breakfast, but this time she changed her tune. We had these thin sliced ribeyes from Sam's that were on clearance. We were going to make fajitas or carne asada out of them, but I threw them in the cooler to take to the cabin this weekend. She pan fried them in cast iron and they turned out great. When you're doing carpentry all day you need a hearty breakfast...

I used your cast iron steak post to cook a couple of blade steaks (scared to mess up a expensive cut of meat) and they were excellent

We will burn that bridge when we get there

I’m not sure I could eat the rest of the day with a breakfast like that... geez Louise that’s some good looking food.

Typically at the cabin we eat a big breakfast and either skip lunch or eat a light cheese and fruit tray, and then have a nice dinner. We don't like to stop work in the middle of the day to have a big lunch.
