We need to see a picture of the ex girlfriend and the wife to compare.

A. That's the devil pulling strings for you to dwell on feelings from the past. Forget it and move on. B. If he/or anyone didn't ask permission and just came on your property like they own it i can guarantee that it'll happen again. What I'd do since they didn't ask permission and if you want then to keep showing up unannounced I'd make up a liability waiver and have him sign it releasing you and your insurance of any and all injuries/etc in case of him/family/dogs getting hurt and that he'll pick up any and all trash/poop/etc.. You can bet that if he didn't have the decency to ask you for use of your facility he'll sue you if he gets hurt(twist an ankle, dog has to go to vet for infection or injury, etc.) When you confront him and he acts like a jackleg about signing waiver I'd shut it down right then and tell him to leave and put up no tresppasing/hunting/fishing signs. I look at it this way "you're at home or just arrived to find someone swimming/playing in your pool, whether it's 30' behind your house or 300 yards from your house that's yours and someone just came in WITHOUT PERMISSION and took possession and using it like they're own." That stuff won't fly around my place,if it does i shut it down but I'm an cranky old hillbilly that can't stand the neighbors.

I'm confused. Is this a funny or for real? I don't know whether to laugh or break red on somebody.

Go out there with two beers and give him one. Shoot the sh!t with him. He actually did you a favor. Your ex screwed around on you, not him. Don't be a di*k. Life is too short. I let it go but I ain't giving him my beer I found out years after I had divorced her and after she died that an old buddy of mine had "done it" with my first wife. At first I was kind of pissed, but then I kind of shrugged it off. This was before cell phones, so I just bought a 12 pack and drove over to his house one nice day. He was kind of shocked and a little scared when he opened the door and saw me standing there. We hadn't seen each other in a long time. He immediately began to apologize after I confronted him about it. I heard him out and then told him not to worry about it. "Let's go have a few beers and talk about old times." We found some old dirt roads and drove for miles in my truck, drinkin' beer and talkin' about all the old times and the adventures we had. It wasn't long before we both had to pee. I got back in the cab first, and then in sort of a spur of the moment thing, without even giving it a second thought I just put it in gear, drove off and left him out there in the middle of the woods. I'm sure for a while he stood there thinking that I was playing a joke on him, but maybe after a few hours, it finally sank in. I've never seen him since. I hope he made it out alright.

Horsechit. If Irish had done this it wouldn't have been a half case of beer. It woulda been old fashions, or Moscow mongooses, maybe a martini shaken not stirred. AND there's no picture of a gourmet meal of Oysters Rockefeller baked on the truck manifold whilst consuming said divine beverage of choice. No way Jose this ain't the Juan.
