Ran through Zaxby's for lunch since I was out and as I pulled to the board to order I saw a jeep, facing me head on, placing an order. He placed his order, put it in reverse and backed that joker to the window where he paid and got his food before back on into the parking lot, turning around and leaving.
His steering wheel was on the wrong side, and although I'm sure it's a common occurrence for him, it tickled my funny bone for some reason.
Random ramblings on a Tuesday night...

Back in the early 90s when I worked in Guam there were Kiwis ( New Zealanders) that I made friends with who bought new vehicles there on the island. These were typical left hand drive vehicles like we drive every day. For the Kiwi's to take one back to New Zealand was a costly deal. Seems like there was a $10K or so tariff to bring a left hand drive vehicle into the country. NZ was a right hand drive country.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Recon how much different it is to drive? Any one ever driven one ? I've drive a bunch of right hand drive jeeps at work test driving them after we work on them for the some of the mail carriers. Its weird to be driving looking in the ditch, and if your the passenger the first 10 mins feels like your going the in a head on collision everytime you meet a car till the driver figures out where to center it at instead of hanging your helpless ass on the double mustards. So for 10 mins the driver feels like he's driving in the ditch and the passenger feels like he's hanging out in traffic the whole time. I've been the passenger and the driver so I've experienced both sides didn't care for either one. And if your working on it its aggravating going g from the engine compartment to the cabin area to turn a switch or whatever and walk to the left side only to have to go back around to the right side. And you WILL do this several times before you catch yourself just doing it out habit

I drove an old Austin mini and a euro Volvo when I was in England for 4 years, and shifted with the left hand. Wasn't that hard to learn. Anytime you drive an American vehicle there (SW on left), it makes it harder to safely see to pass. You can't edge out to see as well. I assume it would be the same here with a SW on the right.

My first wife was from Bermuda and most cars are left hand drive. It was hard for me to get used too. Add all the mopeds and I said enough. We took taxis.

I think what would weird me out the most would be driving a manual in right-hand drive. Because most of the ones I've seen, the gearbox still goes from left to right. So instead of shifting away from you as you shift up through the gearbox, you're shifiting toward you. Just seems like that would throw me a little.
