No birds in Jackson county.

Did the single season DIY grand slam last year......really wore ourselves out driving/camping and running back home to work/ family
Next year I'll prob stay close. Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, and a long trip up into the lower north east. Think we are gonna skip Kansas for first time in 12 years next year. Not interested in rio, Merriam, or Osceolas. We are gonna hunt easterns in the hardwoods all year I think.

We are gonna hunt easterns in the hardwoods all year I think. Made that decision this spring, hunted them in 7 states. Those western birds are fun, but nothing is more rewarding than the public land easterns... That being said, I'm gonna switch it up and hit some new ground out west next spring. Planning a trip the first two weeks of May to hunt Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. I'll hunt easterns in MS, Bama, and MO.

Got no plans but I’d like to hunt Kentucky and Missouri some day.

I haven't made any definitive plans for myself or with my buddies at this point. All I know is if the Good Lord and my health allows I'm going to hunt as much and as many states as possible. I should be make 7 to 10 depending on the two factors above. We shall see how it all shakes out when the time nears. If next Spring is half as good as 2018 was it will be a blessed season.
