All it took was a little rain to put water in the marsh and the hogs are back. They done tore up a couple of my levees and in front of some of my drain pipes. Dug up the edge of the road around 2 of my fields. Guess it's time to get after them again. Sure was nice while they were gone the last couple months.

I thought there was always water in the marsh.
Aint that why it's called a marsh?

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Most of the time there is. We have been in a dry spell and the marshes dried up. The water level in the marshes around here fluctuate with the mermentau River stage. If the river is low the marshes are dry, if she is up, water in the marsh. Even our swamps will dry up during a long dry spell.
